Reflection
1. Did you feel that the six questions, used as a lead-in, were helpful to starting your own composition? Why so/Why not?
Yes, because it provided me with a thesis statement that could be used to write the first paragraph. Also, questions 2, 3, and 4 were used for the body of the critical review. All I had to do was come up with my own conclusion.
2. Influence me as to what to focus most upon during grading: what do you most want weighed in your favor as I grade your overall project? Why?
I want the grammar and structure to be weighed in my favor. I think that my critical review shows good use of language and I structured properly.
3. Influence me further as to what to focus least upon during grading: what do you want weighed least against you as I grade your project? Why?
I want the number of direct citations to be weighed the least against me because I only included one and I could've included more by changing some indirect citations into direct citations.
4. Was the peer review beneficial to you? How so?
The peer review was beneficial to me because my peer pointed out some punctuation errors that I wouldn't have looked at twice.
5. Based upon what you have been assigned, versus what you have completed, what grade does your work justify?
My work justifies an A because I did everything that was required for the assignment and corrected mistakes pointed out by my peers.
